KHULNA: Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) on Thursday noon imposed ban on political rally and procession in Khulna city.

The ban will come into be effect from 12:00am Friday.

Additional deputy commissioner of KMP Rashida Begum confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The decision was taken to avert any untoward situation as ruling Awami League and opposition BNP declared to stage rallies in the city on October 25.
