‘October 25 rally a must’

DHAKA: BNP expressed firm determination to hold rally in the capital on October 25, despite Dhaka Metropolitan Police banned all political gatherings indefinitely.

Party’s joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi alleged that police had been allowing none to enter into party’s Nayapaltan central office Sunday.

Raising question about democracy, he termed it ‘Hasina’s democracy’.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that they had taken massive preparation for the rally and it would be held must.

A huge numbers of law enforcers were deployed aournd central office of opposition BNP in Nayapaltan of the capital on Sunday morning.

Criticizing government, Rizvi Ahamed told banglanews that deploying innumerable policemen at office premises and creating panic was government’s redundancy.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) imposed a ban on holding any kind of meeting, procession and rally in the capital for an indefinite period from Sunday morning to avert anarchy and confrontation.
