Women to suffer if BNP comes

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Sunday alleged that women’s development would be hindered if BNP assumes power.

She said: “Conspiracy is on against women who are a driving force behind the country’s economy; BNP will throw them inside houses after assuming power implementing ‘Tentul Tattya’.”

The premier was addressing a mass gathering of professionals at Bangabandhu International Convention Center in the capital on Sunday.

Sheikh Hasina also said, “Bangladesh will be turned into a country of militancy, terrorism and corruption again and all the development activities will be stopped if BNP comes to power.”

The PM expressed her wish as future Bangladesh would emerge with the identity of a wealthy-modernized-non-sectarian and fundamentalism, militancy and terrorism free prosperous country.
