DHAKA: Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil have been elected as chairman and general secretary of Jubo League respectively for the next three years.

Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash, son of Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani, is given this position in the seventh National Council of the Jubo League, the youth wing of ruling Awami League.

The announcement came at council session at Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) auditorium, in Dhaka on Saturday (November 23).

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the 7th national council of the Bangladesh Awami Jubo League at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital at 11 in the morning.
