DHAKA: Jatiya Party acting chairman GM Quader was made full chairman following the death of party founder-chief HM Ershad. 

Jatiya Party Chairman Mashiur Rahman Ranga made the disclosure at a press briefing held at the JP Chairman's Banani office Thursday (July 18).

Late president also leader of the opposition in parliament HM Ershad, who died at Combined Military Hospital (CMH, Dhaka) on July 14, appointed his younger brother GM Quader acting chairman months ago.
