The body was earlier taken to the JS Complex from Combined Military Hospital (CMH) where HM Ershad died while undergoing treatment at early hours of Sunday (July 14).

JP sources said the body will be taken to party central office in Kakrail to place tributes from the partymen.

Another namaj-e-janaja will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque later in the day.

On Tuesday (July 16), the body will be flown to HM Ershad's hometown Rangpur. It will be flown back to Dhaka following a namaj-e-janaja on Rangpur Zila School Ground.

Fondly called as 'Palli Bondhu', HM Ershad is supposed to be buried at Combined Military Graveyard in Dhaka Tuesday.

But, the decision may change, said Ranga.
