MYMENSINGH:  A member of convening committee of district unit Jubo League was hacked dead by miscreants in Mymensingh city early on Tuesday (May 14).

The deceased was identified as Rezaul Kaim Russell, 35, former vice president of district unit Jubo League. 

Md Al Amin, additional superintendent of Mymensingh police (Sadar Circle), told Banglanews that on information, police recovered the body of Russel from beside the Mrityunjoy School around 3:30am.

Later, the body was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. The body bore two stab injury marks. 

No complaint was yet to file with the Sadar police station. The incident is being investigated, he said.
