DHAKA: Mokabbir Khan, a MP from Sylhet-2 constituency, has joined the National Council of Gano Forum as it is being held at Mohanagar Natya Mancha in the capital on Friday (April 26).

Gano Forum president Jatiya Oikyafront convener Dr Kamal Hossain is presiding over the function.

Mokabbir Khan is seen sitting among the guests on right side.

Elected from Sylhet-2 constituency, Mokabbir Khan is an MP from the opposition coalition, Jatiya Oikyafront. 

Mokabbir Khan took his oath as a Member of the Parliament on April 2 following the footstep of party MP Sultan Mohammad Mansur.

Earlier, Gono Forum said it would take organizational steps against its lawmaker Mokabbir Khan because he had taken oath as a member of the 11th parliament defying the party’s decision.
