DHAKA: Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) summoned Jatiya Party lawmaker from Bogra-2 constituency Shariful Islam Jinnah on allegation of abusing power and embezzling state money.

ACC Deputy Director Jahangir Alam issued a notice asking Shariful to appear before the ACC office on April 24.

The MP’s explanation will be heard upon specific allegations, said the notice.
