BOGRA: Miscreants hacked Bogra sadar upazila unit BNP secretary general to death in Nishindara Upshohor area of the town Sunday (April 14) night.

Locals said a group of miscreants followed Mahbub Alam Shahin by motorcycles after he had left a gymnastic center around 10:30pm.

The miscreants stabbed him and left the scene immediately. 

Locals rescued Mahbub Alam Shahin and took him to Mohammad Ali Hospital-Bogra where the physicians pronounced him dead.

Afterwards, the body was kept at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital (SZMC). 

Drives were launched to nab the attackers, said Bogra Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Bodiuzzaman.
