DHAKA: A BNP team headed by Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir started a meeting with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at the latter’s office Tuesday (Mar 5).

The team includes BNP Standing committee members Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury.

In the meeting, they will place demand of convicted BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s medical treatment.

Another BNP team sat with Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal with the same demand in Sept last year.

Khaleda Zia was jailed for five years in a graft case in Feb, 2018.

She has been suffering various physical illnesses since earlier.
