NATORE: A district court on Tuesday (Feb 12) sent BNP Central Organizing Secretary Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu to jail after showing him arrested in a double murder case. 

Dulu was produced before the court of Natore Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Mamunur Rashid, at noon.

The court ordered to land him in jail after rejecting a bail plea of his lawyers.

Natore court police inspector Md Aminur Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

On Jan 1, 2015, two young men—Rakib and Raihan were killed in a terror attack during a rally in Tebaria area of Natore. 

Rakib’s brother Anjul, as a plaintiff, filed a case accusing unnamed terrorists.

Police pleaded before the court to show former deputy minister Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu arrested again, in the case.

He was arrested from Dhaka on Dec 12, 2018
