DHAKA: BNP is set to observe a two-day protest program instead of a prescheduled rally demanding release of its leaders and activists including Chairperson Khaleda Zia.    

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi make the announcement at a press briefing held at BNP central party office in Nayapaltan Monday (Feb 4).

Only Dhaka unit of BNP will hold the protest program at Institute of Engineers-Bangladesh (IEB) on Friday (Feb 8). The protest program will be observed in all other parts in the country excluding Dhaka metropolitan area the next day, he said.
