FM leaves for Delhi Feb 7 to join JCC meeting

DHAKA: Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen will leave Dhaka for Delhi on February 7 to join the fifth meeting of India-Bangladesh Joint Consultative Commission (JCC).  

AK Abdul Momen is scheduled to hold meeting with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj, Foreign Ministry sources said. 

Preparations are underway to discuss bilateral issues like communication, water, connectivity, security, power, energy, border management, trade and commerce between the two countries at the GCC meeting.

Foreign Minister AK Momen, in his maiden official trip, will stay in India till February 9.

The fourth JCC meeting was held in Delhi in 2017.
