CHATTOGRAM: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a leader of Mahila Dal in the port city on allegation of spreading anti-state propaganda on Facebook by posting provocative remarks about law enforcement agencies on her facebook.

Mahmuda Akhter Lita, publicity secretary of Chattogram City unit Mahila Dal, was picked up from GEC intersection around 10:30pm on Monday (Jan 21), said Md Mashkur Rahman, Assistant superintendent of Police of Rab-7.

Lita was arrested over posting provocative remarks about law enforcement agencies and armed forces on her facebook in different times, the Rab officer added.

She was accused in several cases, he also said.
