DHAKA: Jatiya Party Chairman and leader of the opposition in parliament HM Ershad is scheduled to leave here for Singapore on Sunday (Jan 20), for treatment and medical check-up.

Ershad will leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 12:40pm by a regular flight of Singapore Airlines.

Jatiya Party presidium member Major (retd) Khaled Akhter, Ershad's younger brother Hussein Morshed and his wife Roksana Khan Morshed will accompany him.

Ershad's Deputy Press Secretary Khandaker Delwar Jalali confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
