DHAKA: Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh Presidium member Mahi B Chowdhury said the new government of Moha Jote (Grand Alliance) will work for fulfilling the demand of people, in its renewed tenure.
“We have achieved huge public support. Consequently, people's expectation also has become large. The greater challenge is to establish the rule of law. We will work for people’s expectations,” he said.
Mahi B Chowdhury was talking to the reporters while leaving the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban area after taking oath as a lawmaker of the 11th national parliament.
Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the swearing-in of the MPs along with Awami League President Sheikh Hasina at the Oath room in East block of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban after 11am.
However, Mahi B Chowdhury sealed his first win from Munshiganj-1 (Srinagar-Sirajdikhan) constituency with Awami League’s voting symbol ‘boat’.
