DHAKA: BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said the nomination seekers from BNP for the upcoming national polls will be interviewed from Sunday (Nov 18).
On the day of opening, interviews will be taken for the aspirants from Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions.
Rizvi was briefing media at BNP Central party office in Nayapaltan on Friday (Nov 16) morning.
After Nov 18, nomination seekers from other divisions excluding Rajshahi and Rangpur will have to face interview consecutively.
Aspirants in Panchagarh district will be interviewed at first, to mark the opening.
Till 10am Friday, around 4,000 nomination forms have been sold and filled up nomination forms of around 2,000 aspirants have been received, said Rizvi.
Other central leaders of BNP attended the media brief.
