DHAKA: BNP demanded inclusion of its party Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s personal physicians in the medical board formed for her treatment.

“Khaleda Zia’s personal physicians were not included in the medical board. It’s a reflection of grievance,’ Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi told reporters at the party office in city’s Nayapaltan area on Friday (September 14).

On September 9, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said a medical board would be formed shortly for Khaleda Zia’s treatment.

In BNP’s demand to take its Chairperson to United Hospital, Home Minister said  government would determine through consulting with expert physicians whether Khaleda Zia to be shifted to United Hospital—the hospital preferred by ailing BNP Chairperson, for treatment
