DHAKA: The High Court fixed Thursday for holding the hearing on writ petition seeking the court directives to hold next two general elections under Caretaker Government System.

An HC bench of Justice Mirza Hossain Haider and Justice Khurshid Alam Sarker on Sunday fixed the date.

On last Thursday, lawyer Yunus Ali Akand filed a writ petition with concerned department of the court.

The petition was filed on basis of opinion given by former Chief Justice ABM Khairul Haque that two more parliamentary elections may be hold under caretaker government system.
