AL aspirant die at central office

DHAKA: An Awami League leader died of cardiac arrest when he went to Bangabandhu Avenue Awami League central office to submit nomination form on Wednesday noon.

The deceased was identified Abdul Baten Palowan, 69, senior vice-president of Kaliganj Upazila Awami League of Gazipur district.

Abdul Baten came to Awami League office in the morning with lawmaker Meher Afroz Chumki to submit nomination paper.

Gazipur Awami League Education Affairs Secretary Amanat Hossain Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.
