TANGAIL: Local administration imposed section 144 in Gopalpur upazila of the district apprehending imminent clash between Awami League and BNP.

The ban was imposed from 2:30pm on Tuesday and it will continue till Wednesday 12:00 noon.

Gopalpur Thana Officer-in-Charge Jasim Uddin said administration imposed section 144 to avert further clash between Awami League and BNP and all meetings and rallies were banned in the area.
