DHAKA: Two branches of Regent Hospital and head office of Regent Group in Dhaka's Uttara area have been sealed off on charge of mistreatment and issuance of fake coronavirus or Covid-19 certificates.

A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), led by its Executive Magistrate Sarwoer Alam, conducted a drive in the head office of the Regent Group on Tuesday afternoon (July 7).

Confirming the matter to Banglanews, Sarwoer Alam said there are multiple serious allegations against the hospital including not conducting actual tests for Covid 19, misappropriation of test fees and issuing fake reports to patients.

We have found unauthorized test kits for Covid-19 and a number of forged reports there, the RAB magistrate added.
