The coronavirus (Covid-19) death toll has reached 5,40,840 as 1,17,47,823 people have been infected worldwide till Tuesday afternoon (July 7, Bangladesh Time). 

A total of 67,41,839 people have recovered worldwide from the disease, according to latest data from worldometer.

A total of 213 countries and territories and two international conveyances have been infected in the deadly disease.

In USA, 30,40,833 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 1,32,979 people have died and 13,24,947 people have recovered. Active cases are 15,82,907.

In Brazil, 16,26,071 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 65,556 patients have died and 10,72,229 recovered.

In UK, 2,85,768 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Of them, 44,236 patients have died.

In Italy, 2,41,819 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 34,869 people have died and 1,92,241 people have recovered. 

In Mexico, 2,61,750 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 31,119 died and 1,59,657 recovered from the disease.

In France, 1,68,335 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 29,920 patients have died and 77,308 patients have recovered.

In Spain, 2,98,869 patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus. Of them, 28,388 have died in the country. 

In India, 7,20,707 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 20,178 people have died and 4,40,192 people have recovered from the disease.

In Iran, 2,43,051 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 11,731 patients have died and 2,04,083 patients have recovered. 

In Peru, 3,05,703 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 10,772 have died and 1,97,619 have recovered.

In Russia, 6,87,862 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 10,296 have died and 4,54,329 have recovered.

In Belgium, 62,058 people have been affected with coronavirus. Of them, 9,774 people have died and 17,091 people have recovered from the disease.

In Germany, 1,98,064 people have been affected with Covid-19 disease. Of them, 9,092 patients have died and 1,82,700 people have recovered.

In Canada, 1,05,935 people have been infected from the disease. Of them, 8,693 people have died and 69,570 have recovered.

In China, 83,565 people have been infected in the disease. Of them, 4,634 people have died and 78,528 have recovered. Active cases are 403.

In Bangladesh, 1,68,645 people have been infected with coronavirus. Of them, 2,151 people died and 78,102 patients have recovered.

The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis a pandemic on March 11.
