DHAKA: Bashundhara Group, leading business conglomerate of the country, expressed its profound shock at the death of S Alam Group and NRB Global Bank's Director Morshedul Alam.

Morshedul Alam died of coronavirus (COVID-19) on Friday night while undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Chattogram General Hospital. 

Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family. 

Morshedul Alam, elder brother to S Alam Group Chairman Saiful Alam, was buried at the family graveyard in Patiya of Chattogram last night following the guidelines.
