DHAKA: Bangladesh has confirmed one more death from coronavirus disease in the last 24 hours pushing the death toll to 9. 

Besides, 18 more people have tested positive, raising the total number of coronavirus cases in Bangladesh to 88.

Health Minister Zahid Malique disclosed the information in an online press briefing on Sunday (April 5) afternoon.

A total of 33 coronavirus infected persons recovered as three more patients have recovered across the country in the last 24 hours, he added.

Besides, the death toll from the coronavirus or COVID-19 has crossed 64,000 globally as of Sunday noon.

Coronavirus has so far infected more than 12 lakh people around the world, according to worldometer.
