DHAKA: A 20-year-old girl was found infected with the coronavirus while four of patients recovered in last 48 hours in Bangladesh, the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) on Monday (March 30) said.

Wth this, the IEDCR so far reported total 49 confirmed cases while 19 Covid-19 patients have already recovered in the country.

Director of the IEDCR Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora was briefing media through online on Monday noon.

According to IEDCR, no patient died after March 25.

Besides, Bangladesh so far reported five deaths from coronavrius. Currently, 25 patients are undergoing treatment. 

The death toll from the coronavirus or COVID-19 has crossed 33,000 globally as of Monday.

Coronavirus has so far infected about 7.23 lakh people around the world, according to worldometer.
