CHATTOGRAM: Customs Intelligence officials of Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram seized 70 pieces of gold bars from a passenger of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
“The bold bars, weighed 8 kg 200 grams, were hidden where battery of his charger light was,” Riadul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Custom of the airport told Banglanews.
The detainee-- identified as Akhtaruzzaman Khan, 42, from Fatikchhari upazila of Chattogram—was coming Abu Dhabi.
