DHAKA: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department said there is no possibility of gusty winds to blow over coastal areas as cyclone 'Bulbul' weakened. Therefore, maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra are advised to lower the signal.
The met office issued the release on Monday (November 11).
Earlier, BMD issued great danger signal number 10 for maritime ports of Mongla and Payra ahead of cyclone Bulbul.
It also asked maritime port of Chittagong to hoist great danger signal number nine (9).
The cyclone claimed 4 lives along with the damage of property loss and crops.
