SAVAR (DHAKA): The fire that broke out at Aboni Knitwear Limited textile warehouse in Hemayetpur area of Savar has been brought under control after two hours of frantic efforts on Friday (October 18).

Aboni Knitwear Limited caught on fire around 1:45pm.

Liton Ahmed, senior station officer at Savar Fire Service, told Banglanews that a total of 5 units, one unit each from Hemayetpur and Kallyanpur, worked to extinguish the fire.

Loss and cause of the fire cannot be measured now, he also said.
