MUNSHIGANJ: Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said he had narrowly escaped death.

Obaidul Quader said: “I was actually close to death. I miraculously came back. Now, I need to do more work for the country.”

He told this to reporters at Dogachi Padma Bridge Service Area-1 in Sreenagar upazila of Munshiganj on Thursday (October 17).

Obaidul Quader underwent a bypass surgery at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on March 20.

Prior to his shift to Singapore, Obaidul Quader received treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital.
