TANGAIL: Unidentified miscreants killed a pregnant woman and her minor daughter in Tangail municipality area.

The deceased are Lucky Begum, 22, seven-month pregnant wife of Al Amin, and their four-year old daughter Alifa of Bhalukkandi in the municipality.

Officer-in-charge (OC) Mir Mosharraf Hossain of Sadar Model Police Station told Banglanews that Al Amin, who runs a Phone-Fax shop in the town, found the bodies of his wife and daughter after returning to the house early Sunday.

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to General Hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.

None was arrested in this connection, the OC added.
