DHAKA: An unidentified teenager was killed in a train accident at Kamalapur Railway Station in the capital on Saturday (September 21).
The accident happened at platform no: 5 around 12 pm.
He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in a critically-injured state, but doctors declared him dead around 1:15 pm.
A street child Hridoy, of the station, said the teenager was messing around while sitting on a train engine.
“Efforts are underway to track down the teenager,” Dhaka Railway Station (Kamalapur) officer-in-charge (OC) Rakibul Hossen told Banglanews.
