RAJSHAHI: Four bodies in a state of decomposition were found floating at the sluice gate of the Baral river in Charghat upazila of Rajshahi. 

The identities of the deceased were not known immediately, Banglanews correspondent reports.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of the Charghat Police Station, Sumit Kumar Kundu said the bodies reached the sluice gate floating on Friday morning (Sept 20). 

He said as locals informed, police and fire fighters reached the spot to recover the bodies. 

Details would be revealed in phases, the OC added.
