NOAKHALI: Police recovered dead bodies of a girl and a pregnant woman from Noakhali Sadar upazila on Sunday (September 15).

3-year-old child Lamiya was the daughter of 22-year-old pregnant woman Panna Begum.

Police detained father-in-law Aiyub Ali and mother-in-law Hasina Akhter for interrogation over the incident.

Locals said this incident had occurred over family feud, superintend of police (SP) of the district Alamgir Hossen told Banglanews.

Dead bodies were sent to Noakhali General Hospital for post-mortem. Police are investigating it, SP added.
