GAZIPUR: The fire that broke out at a Minister Refrigerator factory of MyOne Group at Dheerashrom in Gazipur city has been brought under control after five and half hours by fire service personnel.

The fire started around 7:15 am and got extinguished around 1 pm on Friday (September 13).

On information, six firefighting units from Joydebpur and Tongi fire stations rushed to the spot, trying to douse the blaze. Later, firefighters comprising 16 units of fire service of Gazipur and other neighboring areas joined them and were able to bring the blaze under control, senior station officer of Tongi fire service Md Atiqur Rahman said.

Cause and loss of the fire have not been known yet, he also said.
