DHAKA: The number of child dengue patients has relatively increased at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) over the last 24 hours.
“There were 90 children at the hospital infected with dengue fever till Thursday. 22 children were admitted to the hospital, making it 102 in total,” director of the hospital Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin, told Banglanews on Saturday (August 24).
“In other words, the number of admission rate of dengue-infected children has slightly gone up,” AKM Nasir Uddin said.
“A total of 85 dengue-infected patients including children have been admitted to the hospital. 563 patients are receiving treatment at the hospital now. Of them, 66 are at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn And Plastic Surgery and 2 are at ICU. No one among them is a child,” AKM Nasir Uddin said.
