THAKURGAON: Three persons including a driver were killed in a head-on collision between two buses on Thakurgaon-Panchagarh Highway Thursday (August 22).  

Two of the deceased were identified as Babul, a bank official and Babul, a driver.

At least 15 passengers of the buses were injured.  

The accident happened in Salandar-Chowdhuryhat area under Thakurgaon, around 10am.

The injured have been rescued from the spot and sent to Thakurgaon sadar hospital. Condition of several of them is critical, said Fire service station officer Mofida Rahman.
