KISHOREGANJ: Police detained six persons including the prime suspect over hacking a businessman to death in Karimgonj upazila of Kishoreganj.

Locals said one Sulal Mia, 50, stabbed Sabuj Mia, 50 with a knife during a quarrel at South Sutarpara village, in the afternoon.

Sulal succumbed to injuries while was being taken to hospital.

Six persons including Sabuj were nabbed. The body was sent to Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital for an autopsy, said Karimgonj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mominul Islam.
