DHAKA:  A three-member probe body has been formed to investigate the Mirpur slum inferno. 

Director General of Fire Service directed the probe committee to submit a report within 15 working days.

Abul Hossain, deputy director of Fire Service and Civil Defence, was made the head of the committee while the two other members were--Assistant Director (operation) Abdul Halim and Deputy Assistant Director (Dhaka Zone-2) Niaz Ahmed. 

Niaz Ahmed confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

A fire has broken out at a slum of Chalantika Mor area under Rupnagar police station in Mirpur Section-7 in the capital on Friday (August 16).
