NARAYANGANJ: Police recovered four bodies from Araihazar, Fatullah, Bandar and Siddhirganj upazilas of the district on Tuesday (July 23).
A man, named as Suruj Miah, 40, was beaten by his rivals over land dispute at Marwardi village. Later, he was pronounced dead at upazila health complex, Nazrul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Araihazar police station, told Banglanews.
An unidentified body was recovered from Mijmiji road on Tuesday morning. Body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital, said HM Jasim Uddin, inspector (operation) of Siddhirganj police station.
25-year-old youth, Mission, was murdered out of previous enmity and exchange of money as his family claimed, Ajharul Islam, OC (investigation) of Bandar police station, told Banglanews.
Police recovered a 42-year-old woman’s body, named as Shefali Begum, from Lalkha area of Fatullah. Shefali’s family claimed she was an epilepsy patient, said Hasanuzzaman, OC (investigation) of Fatullah police station.
