DHAKA: The number of unfit vehicles was counted at 4,79,320 across the country, according to a recent report.

Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) lawyer Rafiul Islam filed the report with High Court Tuesday (July 23). 

Of the vehicles direct unfit and with non-renewed licence, Dhaka division has 2,61,113, Chattogram has 1,19,588, Rajshahi 26,240, Rangpur 6,568, Khulna 15,668, Sylhet 44,805 and Barishal 5,338.
