PANCHAGARH: A man and his two sons died from electrocution at Hafizabad union in Sadar upazila on Saturday (July 20) evening.

The deceased were identified as Shahidul Haque, 40, son of deceased Aijuddin, and his two sons Nazirul Islam and Ashadur Rahman.

Rezaul took his sons fishing at a canal, said doctors at hospital, quoting locals.

In the evening, at first Shahidul came in touch with a live electric wire, which torn out and fell on the canal.

Later, his two sons got electrocuted when they tried save their father.

Locals took them to Panshagarh Adhunik Sadar Hospital where they died on arrival, said Moin Khandaker, doctor of the hospital.
