CUMILLA: Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Chattogram highway in Chauddagram upazila on Wednesday (July 17).

The deceased were identified as Jubayer, 20, of Brahmanpara upazila in Cumilla and Shimul Das, 19, of Sharshadi union in Feni sadar.  Both of them were sales representatives of a company. 

Police and locals said a recklessly driven vehicle rammed the motorcycle in Amangonda area around 11:30am, leaving Shimul dead on the spot and Jubayer injured critically.

Later, the injured died on way to Cumilla Medical College Hospital. 

Miabazar highway police outpost sergeant Jibon Hazari confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
