2 bullets-hit bodies recovered in Cox’s Bazar

COX’S BAZAR: Police recovered the bullet-hit bodies of two persons from Kolatoli area in Sadar upazila of the district on Monday (July 15) morning.

Identity of the bodies could not be known immediately.

Farid Uddin Khandaker, officer-in-charge of Sadar police station, said that locals spotted the bodies at Katapahar beside Kolatoli bypass road around 11:00am and informed police.

Later, the law enforcement members recovered the bodies and sent those to Cox’s Bazar sadar hospital morgue.

They also recovered 400 pieces of yaba tablets and two locally made guns near the bodies, he added. 

Police claimed the bodies were of suspected drug traders. 

The duo died after reported gunfight between the two gangs of drug traders following the dispute over sharing money earned from drug sales, the OC added.
