DHAKA: Railways sources said Bangladesh Railway will start selling advance tickets from July 29 ahead of the Eid-ul-Azha.

The advance ticket sale will continue till August 2, said a reliable source of railways on Monday (July 15).

Like as Eid-ul Fitr, BR would sell the tickets at five different locations in the capital, including Kamalapur Railway Station, to ease the ticket-buying process and prevent excruciatingly long queues.

Details of selling advance tickets could not be known yet. 

The tickets will be sold from Dhaka and Chittagong railway stations.

According to the railway sources, the top officials of the Eid management recently held a meeting at the Rail Bhavan. 

According to the decision of the meeting, the train tickets will be sold from July 29 and will continue till August 2.

Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, director (public relations) of Bangladesh Railway, told Banglanews that the details about selling tickets will be informed later.
