2 siblings killed in Gazipur tuck-van collision

GAZIPUR:  Two siblings have died and four others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Porabari area of Gazipur city on Tuesday (June 25).

The deceased were identified as Alamin, 25 and Alam, 7, sons of Kajol Miah of Natunbazar area of Tongi.

Zakaria Khan, station officer of Joydebpur Fire Service, told Banglanews that the accident took place when a truck hit a pick-up van carrying Kajol Miah and his family members. The truck dragged it few meters away. 

And then, the pick-up collided with another truck, and sandwiched between two trucks, leaving Alamin dead on the spot and injured five others. 

Injured were taken to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital where doctors declared Alam dead, the fire service official added.
