HABIGANJ: A woman was killed and four others injured following a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Madhabpur upazila of the district.

The accident happened in front of Al-Amin Hotel on Dhaka-Sylhet highway on Tuesday (May 28).

On information, fire service personnel recovered the casualties from the spot.

The injured were taken to Habiganj district sadar hospital. The deceased could not be identified till writing of this report.

Police seized the two vehicles.

A woman was killed and 4 persons were injured in the accident, Md. Liakot Hossen, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sayestaganj highway police station, told Banglanews.
