PATUAKHALI: A mobile court sentenced a police official to a month’s prison for his assistance in adopting unfair means in Assistant teacher Recruitment Exam in the district.

Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner Umm Habiba gave the verdict at Rashid Kishaloy School Center on Friday (May 24).

The accused police official-Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Mahbubur Rahman- was stationed at Sadar Circle.

Additional district magistrate of Patuakhali district administration Md. Nurul Hafiz said whoever was found as culprits in the test was brought to justice.  Today a police member was jailed by Executive Magistrate Umm Habiba.

Speaking through Banglanews, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education ICT) Ziaur Rahman urged everyone to prevent all types of irregularities in the test scheduled for May 30.
