KUSHTIA: A youth was stabbed to death by miscreants in Mirpur upazila of the district.

Police recovered the body from Chithlia village under Poradah union of the upazila around 10: 30 pm on Saturday (May 18).

The deceased was, identified as Mizanur Rahman, 24, son of Moslem Uddin, a resident of Khamar Boali village of Gaibandha district.

Locals, after seeing the body, informed police. Police recovered it from the spot and sent it to Kushtia General Hospital morgue, Abul Klam, officer-in-charge of Mirpur police station, told Banglanews.

No one was detained yet over the death, OC added.
